Carrefour Romania launched exclusive household storage product lines in all domestic stores. Over 82% of urban residential buildings in Eastern Europe are small-sized apartments, leaving unused narrow gaps between refrigerators, cabinets and bathroom sinks. Local markets lacked movable storage solutions fitting ultra-narrow spaces, and repurchase demands for storage racks kept rising in online home furnishing categories.

Our factory undertook exclusive ODM customization for the supermarket and launched two sizes of ultra-thin multi-layer storage carts (10cm and 12cm), applicable to kitchen condiment storage, bathroom toiletries arrangement and balcony sundry stacking. Equipped with pull-out hollow storage baskets and lockable silent universal wheels, all carts are coated with thickened anti-rust carbon steel, complying with EU REACH and food contact safety standards. Tool-free assembly, customized private brand LOGO printing and customizable Morandi color options are available. Modular flat packaging improves container loading rate by 21% and greatly cuts cross-border sea freight costs.

Within the first month after launch, total sales exceeded 135,000 units across 38 offline stores in Romania, with over 85% buyers being single apartment tenants. The supermarket signed an annual supply framework order to introduce the same carts to stores in Hungary and Bulgaria simultaneously.
